Who prints this

There are two of us. Rasa reads the small print, Tomas runs the checkouts, and between us we open somewhere near four hundred shop pages a week. Every code we find gets pasted into a real cart, and we watch what the total actually does.
Most codes do nothing at all. Some expired in March and were never taken down. Some work only for accounts that have never ordered before, some only for one country, and a few quietly replace a discount the shop was already giving away. All of those get spiked — struck off the sheet before the list goes out.
What survives is short. A normal issue runs eight to fourteen entries, each with the date we last saw it work and the one condition that made it work. We do not pad the list to fill the page, and we do not print an entry we could not confirm with our own hands.
The list leaves Vilnius on Thursday morning as plain email. One list, one send, no second attempt later in the day. If a code dies mid-week we say so in the next issue instead of mailing a correction nobody asked for.
Nothing here is sponsored placement. Shops do not pay to appear, and they cannot pay to stay once a code stops working. Some links earn us a small commission when a shop runs an affiliate programme, which is disclosed in our terms and never changes what we print.

Spiked means the code was on our sheet and did not survive the checkout, so it never reached subscribers. We keep spiked rows on the page because knowing what failed is half the list. Codes and conditions go out by email; the current issue is on the this week page.

Same four steps, every code

Collect by hand
We read shop newsletters, seasonal pages and printed inserts, and we take reader tips at contact@alocoupons.com. Nothing is scraped in bulk, because a scraper cannot tell a live code from a dead one.

Type it into a real cart
A real shop, a real basket, a real account. We watch the order total before and after the code. If the number does not move, the code does not exist as far as this list is concerned.

Write down the conditions
Minimum order, shipping country, first-order-only, category limits and the expiry as printed. The condition travels with the code, so nobody finds out at the payment screen.

Spike what fails
Anything that will not repeat comes off the sheet the same day and is marked spiked. We would rather print four entries that work than fourteen that might.
